Disability Support Fund

The Disability Support Fund has been established to assist people with a mental illness access community based health, social, recreational and vocational options which would not otherwise be possible.

The Disability Support Fund is the only one of its kind in Victoria

The DSF incorporates three different 'pools' of money provided by the Department of Human Services in Victoria, Australia, for people living in the South-West Region.

These include:

  • Funding for individuals or groups.
  • Funding for Agency Initiatives to assist agencies to pilot programs.
  • Funding for Self Help Carer Groups of people with a mental illness.

The DSF also provides funding for individuals living in the Barwon Region that do not have an NDIS Plan.
