Supporting the Disability Community

BDRC is a not-for-profit organisation based in the Greater Geelong region.

Since 1975, we’ve been finding ways to provide people with disability the support, services and resources they need to get the most out of life.

We offer a free service for people with disability in the Geelong, Surf Coast, Bellarine and Golden Plains regions, encouraging them to seek help and advocate for equal and inclusive treatment.

The BDRC notes that The Uluru Statement from the Heart calls for the establishment of a First Nations Voice to Parliament, enshrined in the Constitution. We recognise the importance of listening to the voices of First Nations people, including those among BDRC’s staff, members and partners, and support a YES vote in the upcoming referendum.

Disability Support Fund

The only one of its kind in Victoria, the Disability Support Fund was established to enable those with mental illness to access community-based activities that they would otherwise not be able to access.

With the generous support of the Victorian Government, the fund continues to deliver opportunities through activities, courses and events.
